1. What is your current occupation?
I am the Business Manager for a tech consulting firm. The entire firm works remotely or at client locations.
2. What do you love most about your job & why?
I love the flexibility to work wherever I want to work – Cape Cod! – while doing what I love to do – make sure everything at the firm is running smoothly!
3. What has changed in your industry in the past five years?
SO MUCH – our market is growing like crazy and our staff are in demand! One of our perks as a firm is the chance to work where they want.
4. How has CapeSpace improved your work life?
CapeSpace improved my work life and personal life! I love that everything I need is here, the space is bright and clean and comfortable, and I get to meet new people! And I get out of the house and out of the monotony of working from home. Makes for fresh conversation at home too!
5. What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
My husband and I just sold our small hotel so this is the first summer in a long time where we can just enjoy the beautiful Cape summer. Right now its lots of beach, walks, theater and ice cream!
6. What is your favorite place on Cape Cod?
So many! Here are a few in my neighborhood: Grey’s Beach/Bass Hole, Taylor Bray Farm, Chapin Beach, Sesuit Harbor, all of Quivet Neck….
7. If you could invite any three people living or dead to a dinner party who would they be and why?
Only 3? My grandmother so I can hear all of her wisdom again, Mary Leaky to hear all about her archaeology life and accomplishments, Michelle Obama to hear the stories and come up with a plan.
8. What is your superpower?
Just get it done! Always move forward! I’m a Capricorn – being practical and getting it done comes naturally.
