CapeSpace will be celebrating the opening of its new second location at Mashpee Commons with an open house and ribbon cutting on Thursday, January 23, 2-6 PM.
“We’re excited about our new space and expanding into the Upper Cape where we’ve witnessed a strong demand for the type of flexible workspace that we offer,” CapeSpace President Robbin Orbison said. “We can’t wait for the public to see our beautiful and inspiring new space in the dynamic environment of Mashpee Commons.”
The event will include prizes, giveaways, tours of the new space, and light food and drink. The ribbon cutting ceremony will take place at 3 PM.
Representatives from both the Cape Cod Chamber of Commerce and Mashpee Chamber of Commerce will be in attendance.
Wendy Northcross, CEO of the Cape Cod Chamber, highlighted the importance of having coworking facilities like CapeSpace available in our region. “We believe Cape Cod is well-positioned as a great place to live for workers that can remotely access their customers and jobs,” she said. “This not only helps reduce travel time and expense, but increases quality of life, especially if we have such beautiful workspaces available like those offered by CapeSpace. We hope to see more people take advantage of amenities like this on Cape Cod.”
Mary Lou Palumbo, executive director of the Mashpee Chamber, agreed. “The Mashpee Chamber is very excited about the grand opening of CapeSpace in Mashpee Commons because there is an overwhelming need for office and meeting space in our community,” she said. “Mashpee Commons is the perfect place for this new venture and we applaud Robbin Orbison for her vision and congratulate Robbin and her staff on their success.”
Along with private office space and conference rooms, CapeSpace Mashpee Commons has a business lounge, virtual offices, and several amenities including high-speed fiber optic internet through OpenCape, a gourmet beverage bar, and administrative service, available on flexible terms.
