What is your name? Pamela Sande
What’s your current job? My current job is Managing Principal and Founder of Pamela Sande & Associates. We provide HR consulting and outsourcing services to small and mid-size companies.
What do you love most about it? What I love most about my job is working with clients to address their human resources needs whether it be a complex compensation analysis, employee handbook, or designing more efficient processes. Another thing I love about my job is that HR changes all the time as a result of new legislation, technology, and other external factors. This means I am always learning something new!
How long have you been a member of Cape Space? What’s your best experience thus far? I have been a member of CapeSpace since October 2016. My best experience thus far has been coming here to meet with people as well as attending several of the information sessions offered by CapeSpace. For example, I recently attended the SEO session presented by Dale Shadbegian and learned a great deal that I will apply to my business. There are also many opportunities here to network with others.
You are also a CapeSpace Affinity Program Vendor. Why don’t you tell us a little about that and your offer? The Affinity Program is a program under which you can offer your fellow Cape Space members a discount on the services or products your business sells. It’s a great way to advertise your business. We offer our fellow members a 10% discount on the first HR assignment, whether project-based or outsourcing
When not working, what do you like to do?
I love working on my house – my hobby is interior design. I also love spending time with my family and cooking for them, and I love going on our family vacations. Last year, 18 of us went to Spain and the year before to Italy. It was awesome.
Guilty Pleasure: What can you not live without?
So many guilty pleasures … probably books, throw pillows, and chocolate.
Favorite Movie?
My all-time favorite movie is Scent of a Woman. I especially love the tango scene in the movie and how the movie ends. I like movies where the good guys win.

The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown
Favorite TV Show?
The Voice – I’m addicted to this show.
What is one thing that you would like people to know about you?
I am a life-time learner and find the field of HR have provided me many opportunities for continuous learning. I am very excited about becoming a member of the national Society of Human Resource Management’s advocacy team. This March, I will be going to Washington D.C. and advocating for legislation that benefits employers and employees. I think it’s important, especially in these times, to be actively involved as a citizen of our country in any way that you can. This is one way that I hope to contribute.
