As of this month, WE CAN is providing free monthly one-on-one consultations for women undergoing challenging life transitions at CapeSpace at 100 Independence Drive in Hyannis.
“We are very excited to have a presence in Hyannis in such a beautiful, convenient and safe location at CapeSpace,” said WE CAN Board President Lori Pinard. “This is a wonderful partnership and opportunity for WE CAN to expand our program offerings in the Mid-Cape region.”
“WE CAN plays an integral role in the lives of women across Cape Cod, empowering them to achieve their personal and professional goals,” said CapeSpace President Robbin Orbison. “We are eager to support WE CAN in these efforts by providing them a space on the Mid-Cape where they can best serve women in our region.”
The move represents the latest effort by the Harwich Port-based nonprofit to expand its presence to all sections of the Cape. In January, WE CAN began offering monthly legal, career, business, and personalized financial consultation on the Outer Cape, rotating between Veterans Memorial Community Center in Provincetown, the Truro Council on Aging, the Wellfleet Council on Aging, and Cape Cod Children’s Place in Eastham.
WE CAN also offer monthly consultations at the Falmouth Service Center and PathMakers, a 10-month mentoring program, at Falmouth Museums on the Green.
WE CAN will be offering one-on-one legal, career, business, and financial consultation at CapeSpace on the first Tuesday of each month, 9 am-4:30 pm, by appointment only.
Along with individual consultations, WE CAN will be offering its Circle of Support, a support group for women experiencing separation or divorce at CapeSpace. WE CAN will be holding an info session, led by Dr. Deborah Blackman-Jacobs and Ashley Hallman, MSW Intern at CapeSpace on Thursday, March 14, 5:30-6:30 pm.
All of WE CAN’s services and programming are free and confidential. To learn more about WE CAN’s services or to schedule an appointment at CapeSpace or another location, contact WE CAN at 508-430-8111 or at info@wecancenter.org.
